Foodbank
Foodbank is the largest food relief organization in Australia. Hunger affects over 2 million people in Australia. Foodbank provides 80% of the volume that goes to charities. That is over 109,000 meals per day, almost enough to feed all of Darwin.
The Foodbank does more than just distribute food though. They have initiated programs with manufacturers and farms to help provide more food to charities.
